Gabapentin

Hey everyone, has anyone been prescribed gabapentin to help with numbness and pain for their MS and if so, does it help? Might be getting it soon so hoping for some relief

Yes I love my gabapentin! Right now I'm on the lowest dose (100mg) at night because it does make me sleepy, but it helps so much I had no idea how much pain I had been in. I'm not pain free in any sense, but it helps. My doctor said I could get a higher dose but I'm trying to last as long as I can before it stops helping because I don't want to burn through all my resources 😅

I’ve been on gabapentin at high doses for 7 years- I love it wouldn’t change it. I have a broken shunt in my spine so it helps
