Yeppers! Sometimes it gets really high pitched, screaming 😱! Then it goes away. From 1 minute to several hours. Damage to the auditory nerves, I suspect? However I did spend many years in giant server rooms, so some of it may be normal tinnitus from noise damage to my eardrums? I have zero fixes. Some people claim finding the same frequency generator can cancel out the noise, but I do not have proof of that working.
Years ago - yes 🙉 It just went away & never came back I once had a tinnitus prior & would rate it a bit worse. Initially I thought was the tinnitus back but couldn’t work out why 🤔 Went for a hearing test & the lady doin the hearing test confirmed MS can be a cause after searching up in her database for reasons of my descriptions because hearing was ‘normal’ 😬 stoopid ms 🤨 Be safe I hope it goes away for you 🍀
