MRI

I’m terrified of mri super claustrophobic! I haven’t had one in 2 years now since my diagnosis, I had a panic attack the last 2 attempts! Advice what should I do. 😬

Some imaging places have larger MRIs. I go up to UCSF for mine and always ask for the largest MRI machine they have available. It really helps. You can also let them know you are very claustrophobic and they will give you a sedative but you will need a ride home. Or you could talk to your primary care doc about getting some Xanax or something similar. An eye mask could also help. Apprently some places have headphones so you can play calming music. Best of luck!
