Symptoms
Hey guys I was diagnosed with rrms in march and still waiting to start kasimpta, my main symptom was weakness in my legs which eventually went away after IV steroids but the last few days the weakness in one of my legs has come back and I'm really struggling walking ect I also have pain which feels like my foot is frozen it's so cold but a burning sensation in my leg, these aren't new symptoms as iv had them all before just they have come back pretty bad I have tried contacting my ms nurse and neurologist but no answer, only new symptoms are a relapse aren't they? I have had blood tests today which will help rule out Amy underlying infections ect, with it being old symptoms is there anything my nurse will be able to help with?
Ref your first question in most cases yes that is the case. Ref your second question your nurse might be able to recommend pain killers like Amertripterline or muscle relaxants like Baclofen. If it were me personally I would get a B12 jab at a back Street chemist and start having around 500mg/D of elemental magnesium glyconate.
@RC83 I'm still new to all this but I have been taking gabapentin for about a month now but doesn't seem to be doing anything As of yet, I take b12 shots every 3 months and have just started a high dose of vitamin D, I have had bloods done today so hopefully that will see if I have any infections ect to see if this is a flare due to that, I'm just happy it doesn't seem to be a relapse x
