Ocrevus vs rebif
Realised diagnosed with MS and been told I can have rebif by the doctor but after further conversation I’ve been told ocrevus. Mind is overwhelmed and just mixture of emotions. What’s everyone’s experiences with ocrevus and rebif?

Wow. Ocrevus - Rolls Royce. Rebif - rusty Old Ford Cortina. 1st gen vs 3rd gen drug. Medication choice now is about future you. I had Rebif 20+ y ago when there was nothing else. Ocrevus was my 4th DMT then I had Lemtrada. Have had MS 31y. Seriously, the MS Brain Health guidelines- a global best practice consensus - recommend starting high efficacy meds (Ocrevus) as soon as possible to give your brain the best protection.
There is now robust evidence - ECTRIMS 2024 last week - showing Ocrevus is safe re family planning. Not sure where you are based in UK but the best MS centres know this. You wouldn’t even be offered Rebif in them. If you want the data then DM me.
