DMT - options
Hello Beautiful humans,
Hope everyone is doing good.
I am 34 Male, I was diagnosed with RRMS in Sep'24. I had two relapses so far,
first one being double vision looking to the left in Sep'24 and complete recovery after Steroids
second one being pins and needles few weeks back(I am not sure if it's even an relapse)
I am yet to start DMT next week. I have following options given by my neurologist.
1) Rituximab(not approved by FDA for MS)
2) Ocrevus (ocrelizumab)
3) Tysabri (natalizumab)
I would love to listen to people before starting DMT. Please provide your experience or suggestions. Thank you in advance 😄
As you have had two recent relapses four months apart you are in the category of highly active RRMS. I take none of the above but if I were in your shoes I would put Tysabri at the top of the list and Rituximab at the bottom.
@RC83 Thank you for sharing this. 'None of the above' do you know any other DMT options I should bring it to my discussion with neurologist?
