Ocrevus and achne/ face rash
Hi, anybody on Ocrevus getting spots on the face? After about 6 months from starting Ocrevus I started getting a pattern of spots either side of my nose and on my forehead. They come and go but when they're bad they're bad and I'm coming up to 50 years old now and thought I'd already gone through puberty! It's been happening about 2.5 years now but I can't find anything that says its caused by my medication. I've changed diet, face wash, and been to the doctors but so far no joy. Has anybody else had this problem??
Hi, I have this too since being on Ocrevus for the last 4 years. It was diagnosed as peri oral dermatitis and I’ve seen various docs about it. My immunosuppression from Ocrevus seems to affect my skin more than getting upper respiratory infections etc. when it flares up I get a course of antibiotics from my g.p. I think immunosuppression affects people quite differently. I also got lots of cold sores in year 2. Hope that helps.
In the case of cold sores you can get tablet antivirals from the g.p which dampens it down.
