Hi everyone, I have a question for people living with MS. I’m currently on Rebif, but I have strong side effects every time: fever, chills, poor sleep, headaches, and exhaustion the next day. It’s getting really hard to live with. Has anyone here stopped Rebif or another MS medication because of the side effects? What happened afterwards? Did your MS stay stable, or did you have relapses? Is anyone living with MS without taking disease-modifying medication? I’m not looking for medical advice here. I’m planning to stop my treatment after discussing it with my neurologist, and I just want to hear real experiences from others who have been through something similar. Thank you for sharing.

Yes, thats definitely worth stopping it then. Stressing out from the side affects isnt good. I had to quit betaseron after 15 years for my kidneys. So the last 5 years , I stay away from overheating, which is a job in itself living in Nevada. Definitely not stressing helps also as ms thrives off us stressing.
