MRI & New Tattoo

Hi Everyone ☺️ Has anyone had a MRI whose recently had a tattoo. I had a tattoo 4 days ago and I am trying my hardest to contact the MRI department to which no1 is answering. Ive read about potential displacement, irritation and burning if I go ahead with the MRI. What's everyone's opinions xx

I’m pretty sure modern tattoos don’t constrain any of the metals in the ink that they used to. Not in the UK anyway

@pockets I would assume that but everywhere I look says to give at least 6 weeks for a tattoo to heal or it runs the risk of irritation, blurring and potential burning. I can't seem to get hold of the mri department on the weekend which is an absolute nightmare.
