Depression Days

Does anyone else get random days of depression? I’ve had them before I got diagnosed and they’re a little more prevalent now after my relapse in April. Mine I just feel in a slump and can’t get out of it. They usually just hit me with no specific trigger behind them. It lasts one maybe two days and then I feel more normalish. Anyone else get this, and do you do anything to help it or keep them away?

I am getting alot of down days recently, I also had a relapse in April. I seem to deal with things fine in the moment, but I currently have minimal symptoms (apart from NO energy what do ever) and can't seem to stop thinking about MS. I either try to avoid by doom scrolling on my phone or obsessively research everything I can find on MS. It's exhausting. I'm definitely in a slump at the moment. I am trying to eat well and move a bit more but it has been too hot and I use food for comfort so it hasn't been working!

I absolutely get those days too! It’s hard because you can’t predict them, but I agree that mine are more frequent/intense after a relapse. I don’t do anything special but I try to do distracting and/or comforting things. Some of my go to’s are reading coloring, eating my favorite foods and snacks, watching comfort movies or shows, watching scary movies or shows are distracting for me so I do that often too. And talking it out with my partner or support system always helps 🧡best of luck getting through those tough times. I’m always here to chat if you need a listening ear!
