Has anyone tried going to an MS support group? If so, what were your thoughts on it?

Yes i do, there is a local one that meets up every 1st Saturday of the month at a pub for lunch. At first i was sceptical, there all at different stages. But when i started opening up i realised no question is silly and they are so supportive
Hi, I go to the local support group for about 5 months now (diagnosed last June), we meet monthly. It is really helpful to me and everyone is very supportive, I didn't know anyone else with MS so talking to others with MS is very good for me. I found the group via the MS Navigator who reached out to me after attending a virtual seminar for the newly diagnosed held by the MS Society. I would definitely recommend it if you have a group you can join close by.
