Ocrevus infusion peeps
When nearing your next infusion, do your symptoms flare up, body hurt more, drop foot worse? I have PPMS. I asked my doctor if this happens often, and he said Ocrevus doesn’t fade and cause symptoms to flare because it is not meant to help the symptoms, only to help put a break on the progression of the disease. I say BS. About a month before the infusion I just feel like crap, shakes/tremors are more noticeable,SO SO tired. Do others experience this??
Yes, we call it the crap gap. I went off of it for that reason. It is real. I've have friends who experienced the same thing. Don't let your doctor tell you, how you feel. I suggest a new neurologist, or ask for a new medication.
Ya the famous crap gap. If you’re lucky and the suits clear it can get infusions quicker like 5 month instead of 6 for ovcrevus but yea gotta get your neuro to tell the suits to do it quicker. Mines still normal but have brought it up to my neuro and she said depending on how bad I am next infusion she might try to get them to do it quicker
