VUMERITY- FEEDBACK AND THOUGHTS

Hello all! I have been discussing changing my DMT from Tecfidera to Vumerity with my amazing MS Nurse. I would like to hear from others, what their thoughts are on Vumerity,and any experience that you've had whilst taking it. Any thoughts/advice/problems would be welcome. It will all enable me to make an informed decision as to my choice going forward. Thanks in advance. V

Whilst it works in the same way, Aaron Boster rates Vumerity slightly lower efficacy than Tecfidera.

I've been on Tec, Vumerity and generic dimethyl fumarate. Flushing happens on all 3. Vumerity's documentation is mostly Tecfidera's with text added that diroximel fumarate breaks down to the same metabolite as Tec. The one main difference I noticed was Biogen added a warning to not eat more than 700 calories and no more than 30 grams of fat before dosing. The only reason I can think of to switch would be if you had gastro intestinal issues with Tec as Vumerity is a bit weaker. But they all break down to mono methyl fumarate. Frankly, I doubt Vumerity would even exist if Biogen still had their patent protection on Tec. I'm happy with generic DF.
