Ptsd

Hi all, can a relapse trigger/ cause Ptsd? Has anyone any experience with ptsd and know whether an episode, similar to a relapse you have had before, can trigger ptsd? Tia

If a previous relapse caused you trauma, (not unlikely) then enay exacerbation of similar symptoms, let alone another relapse, is a PTSD trigger...

Yes I agree. My initial relapse was traumatic and additional stress to an already stressful time. Had an infection trigger a minor relapse this summer and especially because it had to do with my vision, it was definitely triggering.
