On enquiring about the treatment, they said, 'Don't do it; it's dangerous. You might die!" Many neurologists were not supportive of HSCT at that time either? I underwent HSCT in 2016 and found the treatment to be highly effective.I have not needed a single DMT or similar medication since and my MRIs remain stable. My neurologist has said she believes my MS has stopped. The MS Society is comprises of many departments and teams. I recognise their efforts, but in my experience, only certain areas are genuinely reliable, honest and truthful.
