@QueenOfDarkness

my job is only physical sometimes and since being diagnosed, my boss has made me do more of a hybrid situation where I’m in the office a lot more so that’s been helpful. I’m not sure if that’s an option for you but maybe or ask for accommodations. I’m sorry your family isn’t very supportive. I do meal prep on Sundays so that I don’t have to cook all week and that works for me and my husband and my two-year-old there’s been a few weeks that I haven’t been able to meal prep so my husband will do it between jobs. and there’s been a few weeks that I was lazy and ordered from a restaurant and just meal prepped that lol.

@QueenOfDarkness That’s great to hear that you have the option to work from home. The only accommodation I have is intermittent FMLA. I work in a casino in housekeeping. Because of my dysphonia I don’t have the option to move into any other department because my voice changes… So unfortunately I’m forced to do physical labor. With my progression I foresee disability in my future. My family understands at times, I think they get frustrated carrying most of the load. The meal prep sounds like a great idea. Definitely something to look into. Thank you for the idea.
