Hi, I'm new to the app. I was diagnosed with RRMS in August 2019 but my journey began in April 2017. I have been very fortunate and have had no relapses since beginning my DMD in October 2019 with my MRIs remaining "stable" since then. I have spent the last 4 days with a severe stomach bug, not being able to keep food down, trying to maintain my fluids,it has not been pleasant. Because of this I have not been taking my MS meds and I am worried about the impact of this. I already know this bug has floored me in regard to my energy levels and my fatigue being the worst I have experienced. I am not generally a physically sick person, my last recollection of being ill is having the flu in 2010 so I have not had to deal with the recovery of sickness since my diagnosis. Has anyone experienced a flare up of symptoms after a bug like this? What kind of recovery time did you experience? I know we're all different but if I had a rough kind of what to expect I would really appreciate it. Tracey 🙂
