Feel fed up and let down
I was in hospital on New Year's Eve on the stroke ward following an MRI. This then led to a referral to Neurology who are confident that I have MS. I was given a course of steroids for 5 days and things had somewhat gone back to normal. Was symtom free for 5 days whilst fighting a cold and conjunctivitis as well as only having 4 hours of sleep a night.
The symptoms came back a few days ago and they are horrible. Numbness in my face, pins and needles on arm, hand, foot and leg. My leg feels really tight to bend, my coordination has worsened. I feel fatigued and constantly feel faint again.
To top it all off, I was banned (so it seems) from a support group for posting about my symptoms and I'm not sure if I did something wrong but they never messaged me about it. Whilst everything was falling apart the one place I could turn to just blocked me which was a hard pill to swallow.
I'm now awaiting a further urgent MRI on brain and Spain to rule out any further lesions. I hope this gets better soon, I'm depressed and want to get back to work.

I am really sorry you are going through this. You are welcome here and to share your feelings and hardships. This sadly resonates with myself and many here—until you are on a good disease modifying treatment, ms can progress rapidly. I know you want to get back to work, but right now your body needs time and you need to get the inflammation down. No amount of pushing will get you better. Take time to get on a good dmt and potentially another round of steroids to hopefully decrease inflammation and get you out of an active flare. We are here wishing you strength and peace.
@slamminsammyms Thank you for this. My "urgent MRI" is not until the end of March. Hopefully they will do something before then. Just stuck in limbo. Thank you again for the kind words 😊
