Does Spasticity go Away?

Just wondered whether, once spasticity is chronic/long term, it ever just goes away? Does damage to nerves increase as time goes by and I wonder if this is more the case the older you are? Just my thoughts rambling as usual thro insomnia but genuinely interested to hear people's thoughts!

I have found the older I have got my spasticity hasn't got any better in fact it's just got slightly worse over the years.. I would say in general that my spasticity has got worse but then again I don't let it bother me to much... Stress makes my spasticity worse.. but it's there in the background all the time the CBD THC oil helps with my spasticity quite a lot so it isn't as frequent and as bad but that's my experience...

Hi I'm 57, my spasticity was so bad that I was taking 45mins (which felt like 2 hrs) to uncurl from the foetal position each morning. I would painfully straighten a little only to crunch back. Very often suffering incontinence as well.. Then I watched a young experimental street dancer doing a routine based on micro movement. Now I very gently vibrate my body straight and loose each morning taking much less time, typically 10mins, with less pain and trouble. The effect doesn't last all day, stress and strain still take their toll, but it does last a fair while.. . It feels very weird and counter-intuitive taking some determination but loosening this way, in my experience gets easier with practice. I think you might find it worth a try, good luck, hope it helps.
