Firstly, whoever said that shouldn't have done. I was told I wouldnt be able to walk again, later this year I'll be hitting 10 years in remission. I stubbornly & at times painfully walk everywhere. I can't comment on speech, but the middle finger is a good communication tool 😉. I had Lemtrada & that was long & boring, i learned to take a pillow, food & plenty of entertainment. Mints for steroids though. Don't forget chargers & lots of fluid 🙂. Don't stress now even steroids can take 6 weeks, things can get better. Xx

So sorry to hear that!! I think NS21 is absolutely right. Don't take pessimism in. It depends so much on what happened internally that caused those relapse symptoms, no? Hope you're having kind people around you. What to bring with you? When I went I last I focused on bringing lots and lots of nutritional food, because the first time I was in the food made me feel even worse! And my hot water bottle because I struggle to keep my body temperature and the bottle helps me with that. And an eye mask and ear plugs for some privacy...
