Ocreves

So, ive just had my 2nd infusion today which was my first full dose as the first ever dose is done in 2 halves, 2 weeks apart. I was on capazone first which didn't really help. I mentioned in a previous post that I was in the 'Crash' period 5 months after my first dose. Just thought I would put an update on today for anyone who might be interested in Ocrevus. So, I was in the chair for about 6 hours today as it is still being given slowly at the moment. Felt fine in the chair, had a little dose or 2 throughout the day. (It was honestly lovely being husband, child and work free just for 1 day 🤣) Day finished, get picked up and taken home. Boy, did I feel tough rough on the way home!! Nausea was awful. Literally went straight home and slept for about 3 hours. Got up, Nausea eased and started to feel better. Got a bit of an appetite back, so had some diner. Im nearly 6 hours post infusion and am really starting to feel great again. It's like the fuzz has lifted from my head. The only way I can describe it is like the emptying of a sink as the water drains away. I can honestly say that this stuff is like magic juice, im starting to feel like my normal self again and I cannot wait yo see what tomorrow brings. With a family waiting for me at home, unfortunately, I don't get a day off!! EVER!! Not even on infusion day!! So the fact that I can start functioning again after a few hours and a short rest is amazing. I know everyone's experience is different, but this was just a little insight to mine that may or may not be helpful to anyone. Stay strong everyone, Wr have got this!! You are stronger than you think xx

It is so wonderful to read your post. I just had my second half-dose a month ago. Been a little worried about what will happen over the coming months.

@Tmwas I can honestly say that I didn't realise just how good it was for me until I hit the crash!! The last month has been so, so hard but when I weigh up 5 good months again 1 bad month for me, i can cope with that. Good luck in your journey. I hope it works for you 🤞
