Steroid Infusion

I’m getting 3 days of Steriod IV infusions done and today is day 1 I’m scared and nervous. I came alone, and while being here I regret coming alone. Pray for me

Infusions are boring, more than anything. The steroids are going to make you a little edgy, and your thinking is going to be “off” for a bit. You will suddenly feel very energized, but it’s a scattered energy, so not very useful in daily tasks. Lots of deep breathing, 😮‍💨, as this will go smoothly.

I finished 3 days yesterday for a relapse - since starting them on Friday I’ve not really slept and been up before 5 each day and like @FloridaSpike mentioned above weird bouts of energy, agitation and exhaustion- but honestly you’ll be fine and all of the above is manageable for a few days - good luck xx
