I think you do what you need to and forget what others think or their comfort. If a rollator and some breaks meet your needs, then by all means, use it. I also think dynamic disabilities like MS mean that our needs are not always consistent. I use a wheelchair in the airport because it's longer distances and there's lots of shoving. And some days, I can walk short distances unaided.

I never leave home without my Rollator as my balance is squewiff and I feel more stable whilst I walk and where I need a break I can! I think if you can stay active and can walk still go the Rollator route for now! If you are based in the UK have a look at assist mobility UK (www.assistmobility.co.uk) i have 2 I have the ByAcre carbon Ultralight for my everyday and the ByAcre Carbon Overland for when I go to the park or beach both by definition very light fold up easy and small and I can lift it into the boot of my car! Plus it doesn’t look like those rollators you see with the older older generation have! Also being stuck in a wheelchair will not only stop any good work you have been doing whilst you can still walk albeit probably not as far as most people but having to rely on someone else to push you also adds to the guilt we MSers have all day everyday because we think we are such an inconvenience to everyone else right! But those who know will understand and they will be patient and bear with us when we take a sit break during our walks! But the day i will have to use a wheelchair I want to get the Omeo self balancing wheel chair where you don’t have to rely on anyone to push you!! I tried one at the mobility UK exhibit in london and it was amazing!! If I have to be in a wheelchair that’s the one I will get!! Hope this helps!
