So last week I saw my MS Dr. After a decade of being told it's definitely PPMS, she says maybe not. Maybe I just said PPMS so you'd get into their medical trials. Maybe it's this new kind we're talking about called Primary Relapsing MS (PRMS).
WTF is PRMS now? Are we just making stuff up as we go along?
Hey, that sounds Like your experience was really annoying. I personally have never heard of PRMS, it would be good to know if it is better or worse than PPS😂?
Hmm, I know the MS “powers that be” are constantly updating their ways of separating/classifying/clarifying MS types/progressions. It may be as innocent as new knowledge is giving your docs a better idea of where you currently stand in the MS spectrum. Or, you could have a doc that borked your diagnosis, from the get? I think you need a deeper conversation with your MS nurses, to see what this all means in your paradigm.
