My left leg has its own management structure.

Most days it works for me. Not brilliantly, but it turns up. Then I get ill, sleep badly for a few nights, eat like a raccoon behind a Wetherspoons and forget pacing exists. Suddenly my left leg calls an emergency meeting. “Right lads, he's clearly not looking after us. Initiate WOODEN LEG MODE.” Stiff as a scaffold pole. Aching. Pins and needles. Every step feels like I'm walking around with someone else's leg attached. And my first instinct is always: “I'll just push through it.” My leg: Excellent. Make it worse. The annoying thing is pacing actually helps. Sleep, decent food, fluids, shorter bursts of activity, little rests before I'm completely knackered. Apparently my body wants basic maintenance. Absolutely ridiculous. MS is basically owning a temperamental old car. It'll still get you places, but ignore the warning lights for three days and suddenly the left suspension is fucked. 😂 Pacing isn't doing less. It's stopping today's stupidity from stealing tomorrow's legs.
@royt

Mines the right leg but he same bull shit. Sucks being right handed so my right side was always dominate and right leg is used to drive so now I get the fun of hand controls for gas n break because my right leg decided its just there to do its bare minimum and hold me up but don’t ask it to work cuz it’s on strike
