My Fingers Are On Backwards

One of the weird little MS things I get is with shoelaces. I can be absolutely fine, then after something like my 6-minute treadmill challenge or halfway through a walk, I notice a lace has come undone. Easy fix, right? Except I bend down to tie it and suddenly it feels like my fingers have multiplied, swapped hands and been screwed back on backwards. 😂 I know exactly what I’m trying to do. Loop. Pull. Knot. Done. My brain has the instructions. My hands have apparently received: ERROR 404: KNOT NOT FOUND Something that normally takes five seconds suddenly feels like I’m trying to defuse a bomb wearing oven gloves. It’s one of those tiny MS things that sounds ridiculous until you’ve experienced it. Fatigue doesn’t always mean “I need a nap.” Sometimes it means your fine motor control has quietly packed its bags and gone home. Anyway, naturally I dealt with this in the mature and sensible way... I wrote a song about it. 😂🎵 It’s called “My Fingers Are On Backwards.” Song attached for the three people who actually listen to songs on posts. 😂 https://suno.com/s/m5yULPOdyT5s8AMT

Speaks to all of us with motor skills issues. Slip holes and Velcro are my new best friends. 🤪
