Is it worth it? What’s the point? 🤔
As with many of us, I was quite fit back in the day. For many years, I sold phones. 📱
I knew how to talk; when I spoke, I could charm the birds out of the trees. My best friend completed an Ironman last year. He then died of a brain tumor two months later—just seven weeks after qualifying as a chartered surveyor. We both sold phones together, and I honestly believe that if we could swap places and he had lived with MS and seen his kids grow up, he would do it in a heartbeat. ❤️
MS is totally freaking shit. I hate it. 😠
“The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.” – Nelson Mandela 🌟
I think we have to go with the hand we’re dealt. My brother was the fittest man ever, marathons, trifectas, mud runs, always fundraising. Last year he tragically died in an accident after completing gruelling competitions 3 days before. I’m wondering why I’m still here unable to do things and he’s gone. I do know he would be annoyed if I didn’t take my opportunity to live though, so I keep going slowly
