F**ks Management 101 🌱
People ask me how I stay so calm.
Truth is, I don't. I've just become incredibly selective with where I spend my f**ks.
You can even check the field where I grow them. It's barren. The soil's given up. Even the scarecrow packed his bags and left.
I don't give a single, solitary f**k. Not one. If you find one lying around, it's probably someone else's.
These days I treat my f**ks like they're on a cost of living budget. I invest them wisely.
If you make my life better, welcome aboard. If you don't... off you pop. No refunds, no loyalty card.
Nothing preserves your remaining fks quite like pacing. Turns out it's not just good for MS, it's good for life. Don't spend all your fks before lunchtime. Budget them. Save a few for the things that actually matter.
One thing age has taught me is that changing your mind isn't weakness. Yesterday I thought one thing. Today someone presented me with better information, so I changed my mind. That's not hypocrisy, that's updating the software.
Now for the invisible illness bit...
MS is invisible most of the time. You can waste a lifetime trying to convince people you're struggling. Some people will understand. Some won't. And some simply don't give a f**k.
Here's the secret... don't waste your f**ks on them.
Spend them on your family. Your friends. Your health. Your hobbies. The people who genuinely make your life better. The rest can crack on without a front-row seat to your medical history.
And here's another revolutionary idea...
This isn't Nazi Germany. People can believe what they want, vote how they want, live how they want, and even put pineapple on pizza if that's the hill they've chosen. As long as they're not hurting anyone, crack on. You don't need to agree with everyone, and they don't need to agree with you.
Life gets a lot more peaceful when you stop trying to win every argument, explain yourself to everyone, or carry other people's opinions around like unpaid luggage.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to inspect my field of f**ks one last time...
Yep.
Still barren. 🌵😂

Behold!!! The “Fucks” have left the building…
@St1gzy Please sort out your grammar 😉. You keep using plural terminology. You only have 1 ForK that you use to dig your Cactus crop, because if your balance is as bad as mine you can't put your heal on 2 ForKs at once when digging in the Horse Manure. I know Jeremy Clarkson says "Sheeps" but we can do better. So its ForK not ForKs - OK? 🍴
