Duration of MS
Is MS a long term condition like Parkinson's? I had thought that it was until I saw a few comments recently on here where people said that their Neurologist had said that their MS had gone. Is it to much to hope that it clears up after say 10/15 years? Or is it that MS treats everyone differently?

To my understanding, once you have the demyelinating lesions they never go away. They go thru periods of being active and inactive but never disappear. Symptoms are another story tho. They come and go at will and disappear and reappear sometimes with no apparent trigger. Its a rollercoaster and all we can do is hold on.
It's an autoimmune disease with no cure to date. Everyone is different and can have other long term conditions along side it. It's important to be aware of fake news on the Internet and listen to your body. It's about adapting according to your needs to cope. This has been very useful for me (not limited to as there are other useful sources too)https://mstrust.org.uk/information-support 🤗
