JC VIRUS
After nearly 2 years of being on my treatment and being negative for the JC virus I am now positive which now I am having to change treatment after being told everything is going good and nothing has to change with what I am already doing for my ms treatment I’m so stressed and so is my family I wish I was normal and wasn’t ill all the time I just want my old life back
Completely get it. I was in the same situation with a postive diagnosis a few years ago. Navigating through the medical mess was a headache. I’m happy to report, that the dmt change was good overall. Dealing with MS and all the challenges and uncertainty is extremely difficult. The wishes of the old life is something I think we all deal with in our lives. We have to realize that there is hope and that it ok to sad sometimes (because we are in mourning of our old lives). I’ve been diagnosed for over 20 years, I am proof that you can have MS and still live a very meaningful life (sometimes you have to do things differently, but you’re still doing it). Keep strong, you are stronger than you ever thought you would be.
@mango1379 that’s the thing I’m only 20 and I feel like I’m nearly dead already I’m ill all the time I’m tired all the time I have no appetite I’m lucky if I eat something my life’s over before it’s already started I found out at 18 years old
