I've had MS for 50 years
Let me explain what I mean. I'm 54. My mother was diagnosed with MS in 1974, when I was only 4 years old. At that point in time they referred to it as Myelin Degeneration. I grew up having a mother who was handicapped. By the time I was 9, she could no longer walk. I became a caretaker, along with my father and three siblings. By the time I was a teen, my mom could do nothing for herself. We all took turns taking care of her. She passed when I was 28. Fast forward to 2008. I was diagnosed six months after having my second child. I wasn't really surprised since I had symptoms since I was a teen. So, yeah, I've been on both sides. I may have MS, but it doesn't have me!
I love your attitude to having MS. Never give up and continue to fight it. Stay well my friend, you are an inspiration
