I’m an overthinker who likes to be prepared
Hi everyone! I was officially diagnosed a few weeks ago and just got home from a rehabilitation hospital. It’s been a whirlwind, but I’m starting to look into different tools and tips to help me adjust to my new normal. I also have a bit of a problem with Amazon—let’s just say the delivery drivers know me well now. 😅
I live in Florida and have always loved the heat, but lately I’ve noticed that it’s really starting to affect me more than it used to. For those of you who also struggle with heat sensitivity, do you have any favorite tools, tricks, or products that help? I’d love any suggestions!

I moved from Florida a couple years ago, so I can relate to the heat issues! You should research cooling vests! They were a lifesaver for me. Try searching for MS cooling programs (or something along those lines) I was able to get one for free. I THINK it was through MSAA but I’m not 100% sure it was them. There are some really ugly looking vests, but the one I got was almost like a corset type style and I could wear it under my clothes (over a tank so it wasn’t directly on my skin) if you find one like that, it does stretch over time 😱
I take iced water the whole day and it is helpful.
