Diet change

So my doctor hasn't said anything to me about diet but after seeing so many people talking about it I decided to Google and get an idea before my next appointment, it started off doable, eat more fruits and veggies, switch to healthy fats like olive oil (already my go to anyways), avoid fried and highly processed foods... not thrilled with that one cause I love fried foods and the processed foods are the quick low effort foods that are easy to grab when the fatigue gets to me but I can work with it, then it told me at minimum go gluten free but preferably cut out ALL grains including rice and corn, that's a no from me, I love good bread and baked goods and rice is a major staple in my diet, its cheap and helps stretch meals which is important in this economy, but even if I don't do that I'll keep reading, my diet doesn't need to be perfect and small changes could still help, but then it lost me completely when it told me to cut out potatoes, I'd rather be completely bedridden with a big bowl of mashed potatoes than fully able bodied (already to late for that anyways) denying myself potatoes

Start small and build on the changes. Cut out the worst foods and reduce others. I noticed when o cut out processed sugars and booze I started to feel better. I think it’s important to find anti inflammatory foods that you enjoy eating too.. makes the new diet easier..

You don’t have to give up everything. I would make changes and observe how you feel. Just tweak things as you go and find what works for you.
