Tysabri
Just came back from my ms appointment with the neurologist and I'm gonna be starting Tysabri potentially after blood tests?
Is this a good medication? As I have no idea what's best treatment. I've looked at some of the potential side effects and worried as I already have some of the issues it says this can cause more of.
Thankyou in advance. (:
I'm not on it I'm on a weaker version called Tecfidera. But from the reading I have done it is a tried and tested drug with a two decade reputation for managing very active Ms quite well. Important thing is to get your bloods checked on time every three months and monitor the lymphocyte count and consider coming off the drug if it goes below 0.8 discuss with your Ms nurse.
I’m the wrong person to ask. I was diagnosed in 2000 but I have never taken any drugs. Still active , mobile and happy. I’m not suggesting you do the same……..just saying!! Good luck on your journey x
