For me, proper sleep has a Goldilocks zone. The best thing I’ve found is keeping a regular rhythm—roughly the same bedtime and wake-up time. You can drill down further: stop caffeine after 3pm, take magnesium before bed and get some exercise. I always sleep better after training. But you can also become overtired, and strangely that can make it even harder to sleep. I’ve got three kids, so I’ve seen that one firsthand 😂 Mike Tyson said, “Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face.” In a perfect world, we’d follow the perfect sleep routine every night—but life has a habit of throwing the first punch. A king-size bed is lovely, but unfortunately it can’t knock you unconscious 😂
