Phantom smells

So anyone here experience phantom smells, such as gas, or smoke? My doctor told me it was Phantosmia. I noticed this after having Covid. Never went away. SmelI comes and goes. Annoying as hell...Currently using a diffuser with peppermint to oil help.😏

I have these wierd smells every once in a while. My neurologist said that she’s never heard of that, but l dug around and found out that it does happen especially to people with RRMS. Now am not worried coz unless you have this disease, you can’t really understand any new wierd symptoms that we go through. Welcome another symptom, ‘PHANTOM SMELLS’.

@Sheilamarie26 The 'Phantom Smells' sounds like an extremely disappointing Star Wars film, or a very poor Paranormal TV programme! It's not something I've ever experienced myself with my MS. However I did hear at one point, that smelling burnt toast all the time, could be indicative of a tumour.
