Neurologist seemingly unwilling to investigate
I'm almost old enough to stop seeing a paediatric neurologist, which is why i think maybe she just wants to wait and have the other doctor give me the news. She insists im having hemiplegic migraines, which are typically genetic in nature and cyclical, but ive had about 18+ months of nonstop degeneration in all of my functions. She told me im probably fine and "migraines are funny that way" when i asked her why i wasnt having any of the symptoms of the diagnosis (my head doesnt even hurt ). My braces stopped her from looking at my mri and she told me other investigations would probably be pointless because im obviously fine cus i can still walk. But im having inconcitence, motor control failure, bulbar/ brainstem symptoms, vertigo, and sudden POTS onset. I also have a precurser of a decade of trigeminal nerve damage since i was 7 that is a common first sign that shows years before MS diagnosis.. idk. im mostly having these symptoms that sometimes come and go and then the rest of the time im super weak and everything just hurts. (I got tested for blood mimics and ive seen other specialists that think its nerve damage related aswell)

If it’s possible to get a referral to an MS specialist that could be very helpful. If MRIs aren’t an option then a lumbar puncture might provide some answers. I’m so sorry you are going through this.
@chefmyerlemon I agree! The right neurological group makes all the difference. Look for a nearby university group.
