First Day of DMD
Well had my first loading dose of Dimethyl Funarate yesterday morning. End up looking like a the red version of Violet Boregard. Forgot about flushing but I also imagined it would be like a meno flush. Hell no. Red from top to toe. Panicked called 111 and MS team. Advised not to take anymore until consultant said. So fingers crossed cooking dinner now and will try dose 2 this evening. Have aspirin and anti histamine at ready. 😂😂😂
Update- second dose one hour later and flush has begun. Take aspirin and seems to be calming.
My first time was the scariest, thinking a week later the dosage would double. I've noticed that extra spicy food will sometimes make it worse.
