Workin full time??

Hi, I was diagnosed June 2025 and still getting my head around things. Recently realised I’m still living a “normal” life which isn’t helpful. I need to adjust for things like rest and exercise. Did anyone reduce their hours? How do you factor in life…I also have two children! Thanks ☺️

Hi, I was diagnosed Oct 2024, I'm also still getting my head around it - I'm not sure I ever will. I also have a young family and work full time as a teacher. By the end of the week I'm exhausted. I've found that managing my time more carefully has helped a lot. I go to bed at 9pm, and wake up early to exercise. Even 30 minutes in the morning makes me feel like a different person. And it doesn't have to be every morning. I also have the sofa bed set up ready to go, in case a little person climbs in bed and wriggles around the whole night. Please feel free to send me a private message - it sounds like we're in similar boats. Take care 😊

You two are super-women! I don’t know how you manage 😅 I was working and studying when diagnosed in June last year. I didnt go back to studying until January, and I’ll be off work until I submit my thesis in May. Plus my only child is covered in fur 🐈‍⬛ If you’re in a position to cut your hours back, I’d say it’s well worth it to focus on your health and well-being.
