Brain collapse!
Don’t know if this is MS related or mental health! I have important life changing decision to make urgently about buying and moving to a retirement flat, great place but very expensive and not on bus route. Better for my safety and security, but can’t work out practicalities. Not good to stay where I am, but brain not coping with all technicalities. Can’t get help. I’ve signed to buy flat, so scared that I’ll railroaded into buying and moving as I’m not in control of anything. Does anyone else have their mind completely shut down to logical thinking because they’re so overwhelmed?! I can’t get any help, but don’t know what to do! Situation more complicated than I’ve space to say here - how can I think straight?

Does anyone else get crippling anxiety that stops all logical thoughts?! How do you overcome it? xx
@Samatee Sometimes Mental Health and MS can be linked. If MS has caused physical damage in certain areas of your brain (such as emotional areas or processing areas for example) then it's going to cause and contribute towards impacting detrimentally on your mental health. I suffered from anxiety and depression prior to being diagnosed with MS. I did a course of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and started taking antidepressants. They have helped me no end! Subsequently, in one of my MRIs, it was found that I had lesions in one of the emotional areas of my brain, which may help explain things.
