Infusion of Ocrevus

Does anyone get heightened symptoms when close to their next Ocrevus infusion? I’ve been so bad with pain this week and I’m due on Tuesday. Today my chest feels so tight and I keep getting palpitations. Accompanied with Sharp pain in arms and a weird feeling in left side of face. I’m worried this may not actually be my MS and actually something else. everything I get we just put down to MS but what If this just isn’t! But equally I don’t want to over react when it could just be “MS”

My guess would be you’re in the ’crap gap’. My most recent infusion was last June. I had the new subcut Ocrevus infusion which took about 10 minutes + pre meds and observation time so a lot quicker than the intravenous infusion. My symptoms are always worse in the few weeks before my infusion then go back to ‘normal’ a couple of days after the infusion. If it was me I would wait until after the infusion and see how you feel then. IANAD so if you’re worried you could speak to a doctor. All the best. Hope you feel better soon. 🙏

Thank you. This is my though exactly. I’m going subcut this time. Do you still have to have infusion steroids etc?
