Am I a fraud
I feel really weird at the minute, think I am in denial or something but my recent diagnosis doesn't feel real. I get the random numbness and tingles but I still make excuses and blame it on sitting too long or my circulation being bad. I know it isnt that but its like my brain won't allow me to say its MS. And as my symptoms havent been big or life altering (yet) I feel I have to pass them off as something else. Like tiredness, I tell myself its cause I had a hard day at work (even though I feel the same on the weekends and holidays!) and the wooziness is moving or getting up too quick (even though it happens when I am not moving). I think its because I have been made to feel like a hypochondriac for so long that my mind won't accept I am not. Has anyone else felt like this?

Don't worry about anything you're not afford we all go through this just after diagnosis it makes us feel strange and weird it's we've lost our old life and we're grieving for our past but we have a future ahead of us that is just as bright I am 67 and I've had progressive MS since I was 40 and before that it was secondary and I had that one I was a child and I must say that I may be in a wheelchair now but I've been able to do more than I ever thought I would be able to do with MS so you're not a fraud you're just having a massive lifestyle change just chill out and relax and take some u-time don't try and overthink it just go with it you'll be fine it affects us all in different ways when we're told but don't worry you've got a lot of friends here that will help you if you need it
A year from diagnosis I still feel like a fraud. It really doesn't help when you do get some new pains or aches no one can confirm is it MS or not. But hey, at least we're still functional and kinda ok I guess 🫠
