Is sugar during pregnancy ok?
Hi, I gave up added sugar for the most part because of my MS. Now that I’m pregnant, I’m wondering if I can safely have it now. I’m obviously aware that sugar isn’t good for me. I went off of meds so I could get pregnant one more time. I’m under the impression that my immune system will be so busy protecting the baby, that it won’t attack itself during the pregnancy. I’ve been told this.
Well I will say while I was pregnant with my daughter in 2017 I drunk the hell out of sweet tea, ate ice cream like there was no tomorrow, ate Reese’s butter cups like the store didn’t have enough to sell (lol)! I was fine, no gestational diabetes or diabetes, heathy 7lb 11oz baby girl was born, so I was fine, restarted ms medication as soon as she came out
