Early Retirement due to MS
Hey All, it’s been such a long time since I have posted on here. I have been mulling it over in my head to claim Early Retirement due to medical reasons that being my MS and was wondering if anyone has done this before with their MS? I can’t physically do the Warehouse work anymore as having 2 days at one last week completely wiped me out. I did work from home to begin with for a couple of months but the anxiety talking to people on the phone was enough, so decided to go back to Warehouse work but that was a mistake.
Any advice or help on this would be great as I have already started to contact my MS team for guidance on this. Many thanks all
I had to retire due to Ms it wasn't worth the risk I have 51 years old and I retired 3 years ago.
The first step is to apply for short-term disability and eventually long term. Luckily I sign up for life insurance several years before being diagnosed I don't know if you can get life insurance now or how difficult it would be. But rather than quit your job outright see what is available as far as short and long term disability and make sure you have good notes and get doctor visits
