Today is a big day as I start my first DMT, Ocrevus. After many years of symptoms and misdiagnoses, I'm hopeful that this treatment will help slow the progression of the disease. I'm feeling both hopeful and very nervous as I take this next step. It's typical that, just as the heat starts affecting my mobility more, we're having one of the hottest weeks of the year! I'm also very grateful that my husband is coming to the hospital with me for support. Having him by my side today means a lot.
