Normality

The unpredictable nature of MS is what makes things harder I think. I have been told I likely have RRMS. I am just coming out of a flare. It has really hit me like a tonne of bricks and I forgot what feeling normal is like. As I now have glimpses of being ‘normal’ again, it is hard to plan life not knowing when the next blip/flare will be. I am still not out the other end yet but feeling a bit more hopeful. I know at some point it may become progressive and I might have to adjust to a ‘new normal’. How do you manage uncertainty in terms of planning life/ work etc?

The answer is pretty boring, time, therapy, mindfulness

@Zorbette

I was diagnosed in September with RRMS. Thought I was having a flare before Xmas but thankfully not so it’s all perspective for me. One day at a time. Take care
