The actual procedure is not too bad. They numb you, so you don’t really feel anything. If you get a really bad headache & nausea after it that doesn’t go away then go to the ER. I got a CSF leak from my first puncture, which was absolute hell. I had to get a blood patch done. 2nd puncture, I had no issues. Sending you good vibes for your puncture! Hope all goes well!
