I have found that MS has made my world much smaller. I can no longer drive, as Optic Neuritis, caused by the MS has borked my eyesight, and it is no longer safe. I have drivers, so I am not completely home bound. However, when I do try to go along to the grocery store, I find myself endlessly confused. Too many choices, lights are way too bright, humans being too human-y, just completely overwhelmed. Then, just when you think you can finally talk to someone, about anything, everyone is always too busy, or they only want to discuss stuff that you have zero idea what they are on about?!? I completely understand how isolating, and lonely, MS is. It’s bonkers how quickly, and completely, MS can change our lives.
