Legions
So I had an MRI two weeks ago and it went well. The radiologist told me to ask my neurologist. If there were any new lesions, I wrote my neurologist and twice he said that he was not going to give me any information on how many lesions I have I asked my primary care doctor to give me the information that I asked by my neurologist and my primary care doctor. How many lesions do I have and I was denied twice I still don’t know how many lesions do I have now now does anybody think there’s a problem you go to your doctor your specialist for answers and they don’t give it to you does anybody think that’s weird?
Can you ask for copies of your scans? In the UK, you can. It's literally your data! You'd ideally want a trained neurologist to look, but in the absence of them playing ball, you could count yourself? If you have had more than one scan and can get copies of both, comparing may be helpful to spot new lesions. Number of lesions isn't in itself a useful measure as much as where the lesions are and whether the number has changed.
