290 / 500 This isn’t just about me. It never has been. ⸻ I watched my Father live with MS. I watched what it took from him… slowly… quietly… piece by piece. The things people don’t think about. The things people take for granted every single day. I saw what strength really looked like. Not loud… not flashy… but showing up anyway. And as a child, I didn’t fully understand it… but I felt it. ⸻ Now here I am… Living it. Walking in a story I once only watched from the outside. And some days… that reality hits deeper than I can even explain. ⸻ But what hits me even harder? Is my son. Because now… he’s watching me. The same way I watched my Father. And that… that will humble you in a way nothing else can. Because I know what he sees. Strength. Resilience. Pushing through. But I also know what he might feel… And I never wanted this story to repeat itself like this. ⸻ There was a day I couldn’t do my hair. And it sounds small… until it’s not. Until it represents something bigger. Independence. Dignity. Control over your own life. And I remember thinking— “There has to be a better way.” ⸻ That moment? That’s where Halo was born. From my Father’s story. From my story. And for my son’s future. So maybe… just maybe… this story can look different for him. ⸻ And today… I’m not just talking about it. I’m moving. I have a meeting with the Indiana SBDC at 11. Real conversations. Real steps. Real building.
